RichP, did you buy any cars at the show?
Yea, the breakdown at the end is the best part, but unlike VetteFest there are no 'smoke' activities upon exiting the building The next best part is watching the cars come in on Thurs. and Fri. I think next year the show will start earlier, so the setup will be compacted - should be interesting! If there is one show that makes me desire a Ford it is this show! It takes a few months to wear off, but right now I have an itch for a 63.5 R-Code Galaxie And I may have just found one while driving over to my shop the other night

Marlin, I think Ben looked right at home in the big ol' Galaxie. Those cars have a lot of eyeball. They are very hard to find parts for. The FE engines are cool, but the initials stand for F*#@ing Expensive. Rich P you are welcome to hang around the Registy. I enjoyed our talk and I am honored you enjoyed the DH 427 and the COPO. I know you have seen a lot of cars. I am looking forward to next years show...BKH

Does anyone who attended the show recall seeing a very large Hurst Shifter made out of wood on display with one of the old Sox & Martin Cudas?

Bill,
I wasn't there but the piece you describe was in the hands of Vaughn Bright with the '68 S&M car. A friend of his made that in shop class in High School and has held on to it all this time. Vaughn took it to York to get Linda Vaughn to autograph it for the owner.

Hi Dennis,
Yes, you're right. Actually, it was freshman college art class and I know because it was my roommate Fred Gass that made it You can tell where our minds were really at in college! Every time I visit him we joke about that thing. He called me over the weekend to tell me the story about Vaughn taking it to York and getting Linda to sign it. Fred & his wife almost threw it out a couple months ago but he decided to just keep it out in his garage, and that's where Vaughn saw it.
