No, its not what you think it is... but it IS a 25,000 mile original paint/original everything 69 L78 with all Day 2 mods done in the early 70s. Same owner since 1974. VERY cool local York PA car.

I enjoyed the show, it was outstanding! I'm glad I made the trip from Seattle! I was able to meet CamaroJoe and SuperKid, MHasset, Marlin, Tom K, and Tom C. as well as Matt Murphy. It was great meeting each of you, I hope I can make it to the reunion!
Here are a couple of other cars I haven't seen pictured yet.. Mark Hasset's ZL1 -Sam

Some folks were really interested in examining the black paint under the trunk lid of Matt Murphy's Dick Arons / Berger car. I don't know what they concluded though...

Just watched a tape of the 1963 nationals, they showed the 63 model of this car going through tech, they put it in A factory experimental class. The narrator states that "the driver from Pennsylvania always has one of the top cars in the nation".

Toner,
The '63 model of "that" car you photographed is parked right behind the '62 in your photo. It's the Ol' Reliable IV '63 Z-11, now owned by Don Fezell. Verne |

Verne, I didn't make the show, I linked to the picture that SupercarKid posted. Been watching tapes of the 59 and 63 nationals and remember seeing the 62 Old Reliable II posted here. Also watching Gasser Wars from the early 60s', too cool.
