I think this Ford was powered by two clothes dryers that ran the exhaust vent out through the hi beam sockets [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif[/img]

Just watched a tape of the 1963 nationals, they showed the 63 model of this car going through tech, they put it in A factory experimental class. The narrator states that "the driver from Pennsylvania always has one of the top cars in the nation".

The '63 model of "that" car you photographed is parked right behind the '62 in your photo. It's the Ol' Reliable IV '63 Z-11, now owned by Don Fezell.

You know having that FC is pretty handy----in cold weather if you door locks freeze you can pull that FC next to your car fire it up and whala-no more frozen locks ---in fact no locks,no doors etc.,but hey ,after the car cools down your in. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]
