Default Re: '70 LT-1 valve covers

I can only reply as to their use on a Camaro. In '69 the DZ 302 (Z/28 only) got them and they were not polished and didn't have drippers (drippers are tabs on the under side above each rocker so the splashed oil dripped on the rocker). In '70 the Z/28 was equipped with the LT1 and got the same covers with drippers and a polished finish. By aftermarket standards they are/were rather crudly finished with lots of casting marks etc. The polished version is still available for about $110 - $120 each in GM boxes.
