about 30 years
Sometimes you can see a difference in decals because the modern equip will make more of a smooth surface. The backing paper is also different.

Look for "Fastcal" printed on the backing paper.

I just pulled out some originals and compared them to a repo and there is quite alot of difference. The original has the decal co. name on back and has much sharper stars and the split line is in different location then repo. At least this is compared to the repo I have. Yenko really did use this decal from mid 60s as I have seen it in dated magazine photo of his race cars. I will post ad in 4 sale section as I have some to sell.

Actually there are TWO different original Yenko tuned decals. One, the well known red on clear, and the other, much more rare, red on white.

Tom, I have seen an early one that has a boarder on the outside edge. Is that the one you are talking about?

I do not have it in front of me, but yes, I beleive it has a border.

Also, I might add, there were at least two Yenko Stinger decals. One, which I think came first, a portion of it was raised, the second issue decal is flat.
