Default Re: 70 chevelle Wheel Question

I think Pontiac has dibs on the Rally I and Rally II nomenclature, as they had two wheels listed as such in their brochures. In '67 and '68 both were offered. The Pontiac Rally I is a slotted type rim with a center cap that shows the lugs. The Rally II is the 5 spoke style used from '67 until the late 80's (at least).

Around here the 2nd generation Chevy Rally wheels introduced in '71 are typically referred to as "Nova Rallys", since they were usually fitted to Novas, and Novas prior to '71 seldom had the Camaro/Corvette/Monte Carlo style Rally fitted to them by the factory. Others just call them the "ugly later Chevy Rallys with the squared off center caps", although that's just an opinion.
