2nd owner is from Plano, Il. He still lives there. Here is a picture of him reunited with his old buddy.

Over winter he has had some health problems. He had bypass surgery 7 weeks before my visit. He is doing well but I figured my idea of rehab was best for him. See pic.

[/img] It's nice that he still has an interest in and appreciation for the car and your care of it. The original owner of my Chevelle lives 2 blocks away from me and was all excited when she found out I got her old car. She drives by my house all the time, but hasn't stopped to see the car yet [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]

Is that picture heading down Rt. 34 in Plano?

I know the opportunity to drive did wonders for him. He got on it a couple of times. I could tell he was having fun. We we got back to his house and his wife said "Your smiling, I haven't seen you smile in a long time."

You lucky dog you! You get even MORE vintage pics of your car! IM JEALOUS! The second owner of my Chevelle who owned it from 1976-1989 hung up the phone when I contacted him! [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] There is that board member who I sent all the info to that I KNOW could lighten him up though.......
