2nd owner is from Plano, Il. He still lives there. Here is a picture of him reunited with his old buddy.

Over winter he has had some health problems. He had bypass surgery 7 weeks before my visit. He is doing well but I figured my idea of rehab was best for him. See pic.

I figured my idea of rehab was best for him. [/ QUOTE ] Darren, I'd say that was a great idea for rehab Hope it wasn't too hard on his heart if he happened to do a little of this It's nice that he still has an interest in and appreciation for the car and your care of it. The original owner of my Chevelle lives 2 blocks away from me and was all excited when she found out I got her old car. She drives by my house all the time, but hasn't stopped to see the car yet Is that picture heading down Rt. 34 in Plano?

I know the opportunity to drive did wonders for him. He got on it a couple of times. I could tell he was having fun. We we got back to his house and his wife said "Your smiling, I haven't seen you smile in a long time."
Good eyes Bill. Rt 34 indeed.

You lucky dog you! You get even MORE vintage pics of your car! IM JEALOUS! The second owner of my Chevelle who owned it from 1976-1989 hung up the phone when I contacted him! There is that board member who I sent all the info to that I KNOW could lighten him up though.......
That is cool what you did for the second owner of your car Darren but I would expect nothing less for a class act such as yourself.
