Default Re: 69 Camaro Dash?

Hi guys,
Let me clear this up for you on Jims car at least. Console is original and correct to the car with woodgrain, lower dash panels on drivers side should have the woodgrain pieces but the dash carrier on his car was replaced due to the original having been cracked. This also accounts for the rear defog switch being in the dash carrier while Jims car did not have defog yet the car the carrier came from did. The woodgrain pieces for the drivers side are included with the car when sold. Also, once in my life I have seen a woodgrain radio delete plate, it was on a GM exec company car, L78, deluxe houndstooth, console with gauges, woodgrain on both sides of dash, and oddly a woodgrain radio delete. Dont ask me why, I never gave it a second thought back in 70 when I was dating his daughter, I happen to remember the radio delete plate well as we were always reaching for the radio knobs to turn on that wasnt there. Another odd thing I remember well on the car that I didnt consider then but find odd now was an underdash cruise control unit just left of the steering wheel,(maybe right?),that stands out in my mind as it was a real knee knocker. Had to have been installed as an afterthought at the factory or by the delivering dealer? Kurt, any thoughts on that? I hadnt thought about it in years until I was pulling a mental photo here for the radio plate.
Thanks,
