What was your first car?

1979 Pontiac 6.6L Trans AM with 403 olds engine. I graduated from the AF Academy and before your senior year, we would fly to Pontiac Michigan, have lunch with the brass and then go out to the main parking lot where about 150 of us would pick up our new Trans Am's with a police escort out of the city. It was quite a deal and a better road trip with 150 Cadets racing back to Colorado Springs. Along the way, we would run into other classmates on the open road who had just picked up new Corvette's or Z/28's and that was a spectacle. There were always cops on the highway as it was an anual ritual.
