The saddle interior is the original color. It's a bench with 4-speed. The car's on the cover of Robert Genat's book (Chevrolet SS) and I've owned it for 5 years. It's also a Silver Spinner award winner and that may contribute as to why I am heisitant to change it.

do you remember where you saw the poll results? I know that this color combination was featured in their factory demo car and it's also the color in Motor Trend's 1970 test photo shoot.

Congrats on owning a beautiful car let alone a well known cover car and welcome to the site. As some have stated, it's your car, do what you want.
