I remember the article on that 72 Chevelle..it's awesome! As I recall, they also blew out the rear end while doing the road test for 'Hi-Performance Cars' Magazine and had to replace it prior to delivery to the waiting customer. Another shining example of the fact that I was born to late.

copo9566aa,
I think the car hobby is lucky --that Joel Rosen, MR. MOTION, is still with us and still contributing to the hobby------Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend the Supercars Reunion # 6-----So here's to all the supercars that ever were and to the visionary people that built them!------- ---JoeG

copo9566aa,
There was an article about 350 turbo/CH. Motion Vega estate wagons being shipped over to the Middle-East.--I wonder if that is the Motion Manta-Vette in the background?? ------JoeG

This is probably this one...
Motion Vega estate (woody ) wagon 350/CH Turbo Charged
The letter CH is for Charged ????
This is probably the hood on the top....
Firestone tires...
Side pipes...
Yes the two Vette is probably two Motion Manta Ray.
One possibly Orange or Red and the other Yellow.
But with B&W pix ???

I thought the Hemi Dart was absolutely unbeatable, but not according to this picture where Bill Mitchell's Motion Camaro pulls a big holeshot on it. Cause all I've been hearing about that period's drag racing was Hemi's were beating everything, i'd like to find out different.

Bigblockhappy,--------I guess Bill Mitchell had the Hemi-Dart reaction time.--------------JoeG -----Plus that Motion Camaro was a Bear!

copo9566aa,
Yeah--sorry got a little lazy--turbo/charged=turbo/ch
Firestone Tires--In the article the Vega had Firestone Wide Oval 60's in rear and Firestone 70's up front, I guessed they paid more attention to quaility control back then.----TODAY ---JoeG
