These fans were popular in the '68- mid '70's time period. Supposedly gave you some extra horses because they flattened out at high speeds and weighed less than a stock metal fan. Also Motion ran this fan on some of their cars and I've seen them sold as part of the Motion "TopCat" Custom Curve tune up kits which included stuff like different metering rods for carbs, heavy duty points, heat spacers, thinner head gaskets etc. It also just a plain old Nostalgic item. Nice fans are hard to find and NOS are as rare as hens teeth.
Kevin Suydam has one on his '69 Phase III hugger orange Camaro and also on his '69 Nickey Camaro.
