There should be a flat fee period!!! It takes no more effort to do paper work for a $1.00 item than a $1,000,000.00 item!!! I believe he is just sitting back laughing his a$$ off! You know it"s B.S.!!! Unless there is some hidden gold bullion in the frame somewhere? It is too bad for the hobby period...that this type of shananigans must take place!!!!! Everyone that is having a good time trying to derail the auction by bidding crazy amounts is only doing one thing...making the potential buyer who purchases the car OFFLINE pay alot more than he should or would have,as the seller can use the large bid amounts as leverage[same result as if the seller was to bid it up himself] .....makes sense that if you think a car is fake the last thing you should do is BID on it..As stated on the Ebay auction page, a bid is a LEGAL binding contract. If the seller ended the auction early at 325k the high bidder would be LEGALLY bound to buy the car possibly be sued for non performance[this is a fact]...Regardless of who the seller is and what anyone thinks of him,playing any type of games on ebay is not a recommended solution to any problem.....

I have said for 3 years now that ebay should charge no pay bidders a fee from a credit card and make buyers register with a credit card just like the sellers always have..Hope thats the route ebay is finally taking .The $$ amount would warrant what legal action outside of ebay the seller would take,no sense in sueing for non payment on a 40.00 crankshaft.But for 325K i believe id call Robert Shapiro...The irony is that the buyer may end up getting sued on this car,not the seller..

I am with Chuck these goofballs that bid should have a card on file and be fined or charged for the item, I have been stiffed plenty on small stuff but it is a hassle to get e-bay to credit back the auction, to be Honest I have eaten every non paying auction, they never get back to me, I wanted to call Motown and hookup with his relative the last time,

Seems to me that if Dennis did try suing the winning bidder for non performance that the winning bidder might have the upper hand in the fact that the car is not what Dennis advertised it as being. If it is a fake car, then is'nt he is basically commiting fraud by claiming it is a COPO? Would that not be grounds for terminating the contract?
