Owner's name is Perry. He said that it is 69 vintage but didn't have the date codes off hand. He said it was possibly used in early Can-Am as he got it with a fuel injection and dry sump set up, .030 overbore with a 454 4.0" stroke crank. He said he is selling the long block only, no intake, etc. for $20,000.00.

No stamp on the pad or Vin. It is a 496ci, runs but needs rebuild. The owner believes it to be an original Penske race engine. No Cracks or repairs (per the owner) to the Block or heads.

It seams like a saw a pic of this motor somewhere recently, It is covered in a major layer of dust with the Fuel inj setup laying loose on top of it, Was it here in a old thread?, Or maybe e-bay?, I think it was like a month ago, I May be haveing a senior moment but the Fuel inj and the Penske connection rings a bell.
