#65 is not one of the Gibb ordered cars. It was sold new at Lavery Chevrolet in Alliance, OH. Maybe Carl can share more info. on his car, and how it was restored to its current appearance.

Many companies made that type of hood scoop. It was referred to as a "Bauman scoop" because of the "Bauman layer" -some physics priciple that helped design it. It was also affectionatly called a Sox & Martin scoop or Mopar scoop because so many Mopar guys ran it. A&A made one as well as Fiberglass Trends as well as many others I'm sure. Probably came out in early '70. Never really seen one before that in any of the publications. Grumpy started to run one on his '70's Camaro. Very popular in the early to mid '70's.
