I used vinyl spray paint that you can purchase at most any auto store. The NAPA brand seemed to be the best MARTIN SEYMOUR used to be the brand name.I also used it on faded carpet!!!! Worked great,,that was like 18 yrs ago. carpet is still black. Then you could tape off around your tags,and buckles that stuff has good covereage so 1 coat should be plenty.
