In some cases, NICB and MVD have old records but don't want to spend the time to seach through them.

Howdy Guys, Update if anyone cares:

Talked with the fella from San-Diego today and he confirmed the options and miles as the real deal, that is good. Turns out he bought it from a fella in Phoenix Az about í92 and he said the guy had some very low mile Hemi cars and some other Mopars and a Cobra car, is there anyone from that area or Scottsdale that may recognize this fella??. I have a name, let me know. The fella from San-Diego is going to look around for a phone number but it sounded like a long shot to turn up anything, PLEASE pm me if you are in the area and might be able help out with locating this fella.

Thnx Bud

Budnate, did you have any luck w/ the Calif. DMV or has anyone else here had luck w/ them? I too bought a car that came from Calif. and would like to find out the past history. I will call them (Calif. DMV) but was just curious what others have gotten from them. Thanks!

I never called Cal DMV, called the phone co "Info" and hit the guy in Cal on the first try,What LUCK!, talked at him about the car in length, that was pretty cool. I did some Columbo work on my own and traced a guy that appraised the car in 90, short of it is, I am in a stall pattern over Scottsdale Az right now, turns out the collectore that had it in 90 died a couple of years ago, but his son is still around, I left my number with another fella down there that see's the son from time to time, hopefully that pans out, did here a interesting thing from the app guy, if he recalls right a Ins guy owned it before the collector did but had to sell over a divorce, and he was pretty sure it was not the Orig owner. Kinda funny, I was led to believe there was only a few owners before me,Ya just never know until you dig into it.

Bud.
