It was a used car, and we pretty much gotta drive a pretty good distance to get ANYWHERE. The guy that ended up with it was local, and they knew him, so he more than likely would have been back. Oddly enough, I was with a friend who was ordering a new truck at a different dealership, and I mentioned the dealer I had trouble with, and I was instantly told horror stories. Seems I

Rob,
Just like any business there are good ones and bad ones. Same goes for professionals in any industry. Sales as a profession, especially the Automobile Retail industry has a major impact on our Country's GNP.

I happen to be very proud to be a Car Salesman and the contributions I make to our economy. Sorry to hear that you had a bad experience.

Talk to HeavyChevy He'll try and help you out of your problem and put a smile on your face too boot.

This is amazing. I started on this project first thing this morning, started making calls to all my friends and bike brothers in the Wisconsin/Minnesota area to get some preliminary recon on this attempt to buy this car, sure as there is snow on the ground here in Michigan one of my friends in the area I mentioned listened to what I was up to, and Bam!, he tells me he has a young guy working for him who was trying to fix up a 69 Camaro and in the process bought another one from its long time resting area in a barn, his intentions were to use the car for parts. The kid had no idea what the word Yenko was and my friend who could care less about cars but is old enough to know what a Yenko is spots this so-called parts car for what it is..a sYc 69 Yenko Camaro in tattered condition, stripes peeling, and no engine. The kid is going through a divorce and from what my friend tells me he will sell the car as long as I buy it and the one he was fixing up. He had found out about the car from his best friend who had just recently bought the engine from the Yenko to put in his 4x4 pickup. That friend ends up screwing around with this kids wife and so comes the divorce. So, I may also be able to get the original engine. It is amazing how things happen, I wind myself up last night over the not-for-sale Yenko, and no sooner start on what I figure to be a long term process of trying to get that car, and BOOM! I stumble on to another one. If this works out as easy and well as it appears it is going to, I have a lot of you guys to thank for the thread that started me after the other one. I am heading that way the first of the week, I will keep you guys posted as to how this turns out, as well as how the first contact turns out on the not-for-sale tragedy. Thanks,

Hey Matt;
Isn't one of these cars 'Green' - don't you a little phobia about green cars, or is it only green Novas
