Opted not to do the Showcase....but the shop who finished my 62 aked if they could show the car for some publicity....I'm going to let then take the old war horse down there....after I put the right grease fitting on the idler pulley that I got dinged for a couple years ago [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif[/img]

-----As it stands right now "Red Alert" will be on display.Al was nice enough to find us some space.Ill be selling models at a special show price.
-----As well,we will be running "Red Alert" on E-bay concurrently with the show.Auction will start the Wednesday before and go ten days.The feeling was that interested parties would probably rather take a good long look at Ol Red at Chevy-Vettefest than in a dismal old garage. -----I hope any registry members there will stop by and say Hi!......Bill S

-----I can just see the looks on the faces of Chicagos finest.A couple of years ago Red Alert was one of the featured cars in Chevrolets exhibit at the Woodward cruise and I did take a short jaunt at the end of the day before loading up and going home!It wasnt a 10.18 pass(Reds best todate)but it did get everyones attention...........Bill S
