Default Re: coil springs BB L78

Ron. I was looking thru the parts file and found the new springs purchased for the 69 l-78 SS Camaro. I purchased them from Espo springs and things on the east coast, and the right height was recorded at 2" 9/16" and that is 2/16 into the +/- of the Tolerance. I would imagine a A/C big block would need heavier spring rate due to the extra weight. and the springs were $62.00!

JBB,
I bought mine from ESPO also. I have 427 with A/C, and they told me they used the same spring. That means either they used the same spring, or ESPO didn't have a heaver one Anyway, mine seem to sit about right, although I have never measured it.
