I suppose if you have the cash and can afford to spend that kind of money, then what the hell.Me I personally would not or could not pay that kind of cash for the steering wheel,or the distributor. But then again I wouldn't pay $200,000.00 for a car,my wife as loving as she is would shoot me! and if she didn't shoot me,That would be the quickest way for me to loose weight, because I couldn't afford to eat afterwards. So I say if you got it,then spend some of it for what you want or like, because you can't take it with you when you go! Thats why I own a car I can afford. It is not a Yenko,ZL1,COPO, Baldwin Motion,Berger,Dana Or any other Super Car that I can prove but it suits me just fine and I probably have as much or more fun with it than the people that own the Supercars. So if you can afford it then thats great,if you can't then you reach for something within your grasp and have a damn good time.

Sounds like $2K is the number. A friend of mine just sold an NOS '70 Cuda Rim-Blow wheel on Ebay for $1825 after some spirited bidding. It may seem high, but hey, if you got a million dollar Cuda convert, its only like 0.2% of the value of the car, which doesn't seem out of line....for the record, my buddy was surprised too.
