SS427 Biscayne weight
Marlin, that would be hard to say since they never made one. However, an SS427 Impala will run in the 3900-4200 lb range depending on options. Biscaynes are going to be a couple of hundred pounds lighter. There is a spec sheet on this car on the Impala web site with weights for those who can't believe it. I would like to see the info on the cowl tag. Should have a 4D on it unless it is a doraville car, they did not put any info except exterior and interior color, they did not even denote convertible or vinyl roof. I had an SS427 convert. from there.

I was thinking of Rich Bernat's Motion-'cayne, I guess that's a '69.

Believe it or not it really is not mine! It is really my friends car at the moment!! Again he really does not have the resources to restore the car to what it really needs to be.If he decides to sell it or if the deal falls through I will let you guys know.I will get the trim tag data Thursday ,It does have a 12 bolt rear but not sure what the code is or even where to look for the code but I will try to find out all I can.I might try to get a few pics of the car for you guys. Now understand the car is not very nice looking right now, someone painted it black a long time ago but you can see marina blue all over the car.

I don't have A phone number , but There is A 67 427 SS impala at Sharp Automotive in Lewisburg,TN. I saw it this week , it's in the showroom and is butternut yellow with black interior. He had copies of the brodcast and build sheets in the windows. If I can come up with the number I'll post it if anyone is interested in bugging the guy about it.
