Oops, didn't mean to bring up any old threads and start trouble. I thought the 11A looked like a real late date on the Brown car. Is there any known documentation saying when the COPO's could no longer be ordered or were they still available until the end of the 69 run?

If anybody's interested, I don't live too far from there. I would think he'd take them to Barrett Jackson.

I was looking at a brown metallic COPO from wagners today at the Kruse auction. I leafed through the info on the car. Had cert., I do not remember seeing a POP. Looked like a nice car,but was pretty dark in the tent. I took some video of the car, maybe I will be able to see the body plate in the video. Info said it was owned by Reggie. They were looking for 80k. I didn't see alot of bidders, seems alot of cars were not being sold, at least not like last year.

If I remember right Reggie did have a Burnished brown camaro that was suppose to Be a copo . Not sure if I am right but I think some thing was not right about it and Reggie sold it as a clone I think this is the car that was here discussed over a year ago |

I saw the Brown car today. There is no paperwork. Funny thing is...In a Binder about the car that was under the hood were two time slips. These just happen to be copies of time slips that I had found under the Dash of my old Silver COPO. When I traded the COPO to Mike Ryan toward ZL1 18 he posted pics of the time slips on his Web page. I think they are still on his page. So apparently somebody has downloaded them from Ryan's Web page and printed them out. Now they are trying to pass them off as History to this wonderful car. You have no idea how excited I was to see them under the hood of this Bogus car.

The brown COPO was discussed extensively on this site. It was the one found in a junk yard in West Virginia. It has a very dubious pedagree!!!!!!!!!
