I have some doc's from 72 as well.I would change the mounts if they have not been changed,they are junk.I tend to agree with the as delivered concept......why not put them in the trunk with the recall notice. [img]/ubbthreads/images/icons/grin.gif[/img]

I have seen the GM hold down kits for big block. If the recall was for small block only, were the b/b kits sold through the parts counter? I bought one a couple months ago. It was listed for b/b no a/c, no smog. I bought it anyway, and they were right. I also bought one for small block with air. It will fit my b/b with air, if I make a small bracklet to extend from the a/c bracket to the cable (less than 1")
