Marlin, (if you want) I will keep my eyes open for you. I have bought a couple of NOS 40727 pumps in the last year, I doubt I paid more than $25 apiece and they were still in the original AC box. I need the 40768 worse than I need the 727s. Keep in mind, there are variances in these pumps even with the same number. As an example, the early 768 had two square outlets and one round tube, the later version had 1 square and two round. Only an issue for people with the name "Anal Rick". Rick,
If you have one for sale, I'll buy it as long as it has the AC cast into it. Even if some small areas are incorrect, it's still better than the one I have on the car now - it's looks pretty, but it's wrong!

The judges missed it at this years Nova Nationals, but barely. They had already placed the engine judging sheet in the envelope when they noticed it, Lanny Weatherford informed me about it, I obviously knew it was wrong, we laughed, but I know they will look for it next year, so I want to get it changed.

BTW, You have a PM regarding the TCS switch on the wire gutter!

Marlin,
I currently do not have any extras as they were used on cars I was restoring. If I come across any, I will keep you in mind. I wonder what they were worth before I told you I usually pay around $25!

I also answer your PM question.
Rick

Don't worry, I know the going rate for those of us who are anal about their cars!

Marlin,

What are you looking for on the TCS switch on the wire gutter? I just started looking for rivets to redo mine. Greg

That was my exact question to Rick, where to get the correct rivets! I finally found an NOS TCS switch on EBAY a couple of months ago, after looking for one for several years. Now, I have to get it onto that plastic wire gutter, Rick can supply the rivet answer
