Ron,

The 62-70 Parts book lists the pump as:

<font color="red"> 70 Nova, Camaro (396), 70 Chevelle w/Sp. H/Per. (396, 454) 6470424 (type 40727) </font color>

Type is the AC number. So 159M4072 might be the date code and the first 4 digits of the type. I do not have anything on fuel pump date codes handy. This number was new for 1970.
