You know, when I typed that, I didn't really think about it, but I believe ALL COPO Chevelles should have the KQ rear, regardless of whether they had 9737 or not. I guess I need to change the wording.

Rob, quite common to have things we write to make perfect sense to us, but sometimes seem a little ambiguous to the odd reader. And I have been known to be a little odd on occasion [img]/ubbthreads/images/icons/smile.gif[/img]

Our COPO 9566AA car came with the KQ rear end. Our L78 car has the KK 4:10 rear end. All the COPO information that I have seen shows the KQ differential.

The KQ specified the special heat treated 4.10 ring and pinion which was to be part of every L72 COPO Chevelle, it was not part of the 9737 COPO option.
