Where are they now? 69 Z JL8 and 71 Z ILL cars

Chris- Good to hear from you. South Elgin sounds more like it. I was 14 when I went with my Brother to look at the car. It was 1981 and my brother was looking for a car to replace his 78 Corvette. He was split between the JL8 and the one that we ended up with (which at the time was red with black stripes). In the end the color of the JL8 turned him off. Thinking of it now who cares about the color!
My brother sold the 71 Z in 76. The car was black with purple metalflake. The car ended up in Bellwood, Ill. From there I have no idea where it went. I loved that car, wish I could get it back.
