Although it might appear suspicious, this type of info is useful when you are cruising car shows, junk yards, etc... Sometimes you can't remember VIN or Body number ranges, but a specific month of the year might be easier to remember.

I remember one time I climbed up a wall of cars in a yard because I saw a '70 F-green Nova, rear sway bar option and single fuel line. When I finally got up there, and climbed into the engine bay, I checked the trim tag and found 06C - one week off - bummer! The car turned out to be a big block, L78, a/t, column, rubber mat, bench seat car. Everything was gone except the heater box cover, and core support - neither of which was usable. I did get the lower spring brackets with the extra ear on them, they were laying in the back seat. I probably could have found more stuff, but it was a precarious situation, and the 240z that was crushing the roof in didn't help any [img]/ubbthreads/images/icons/blush.gif[/img]
