The body tag reads: ST 69 11427 WRN 300173 BDY TR 711 65 65 PNT 02B G 3. What does the G and #3 mean ? I also found the Fisher body broadcast sheet and it reads: B80 B84 B90 C50 #J5. A mouse has been on to it, so the #J5 code is incomplete. I have found a ZJ5-code that is some kind of exterior trim, but I donÄt know of what kind. And I believe itÄs more likely to be LJ5, but there isnÄt such a code, is there ? IÄd be happy for some help !

Anders;
Interesting car! I believe the car to be Olympic Gold with a Green interior. The 'G' on the tag indicates that the headliner, carpet, dashpad etc.... is also green. The '3' on the tag should indicate that the car has all 3 of the moldings - drip rail, door frame, and body side. I see by the broadcast that the B80, B84 & B90 that it does indeed have the 3 moldings. The J5 should be ZJ5, I don't have my codes in front of me right now, but will have them this afternoon. I believe the ZJ5 is the custom exterior, and C50 is a/c (?).

Anders;
65 = Olympic Gold - top 65 = Olympic Gold -bottom 711 = Standard bench seat - green (I think) 02B = Feb, Second week G = Green non-seat items 3 = Body mouldings B80 = Roof Drip Moulding B84 = Body Side Moulding B90 = Door and Window Frame Moulding C50 = Rear Window Defroster and Defogging ZJ5 = Exterior Decor = (I think this is the rocker moldings, two sets of them, with black paint in between. On non-SS cars it might also include the rear tailite panel sans-SS emblem). Hope this helps,

Anders;
I do not show a listing for 711 in 69 for Nova interior. I will look when I get home. ZJ5 = Body side moulding with black insert, bright door moulding, painted louvers. ZJ2 added the two sets of lower mouldings and black out, rear end trim plate, bright edges to the louvers, painted body stripe instead of the Body side moulding with black insert. I hope this helps, Greg

711 is the 1969 Camaro Coupe & Convert. Stratobucket seat code in Black Vinyl.
I just picked up these 60X40 1969 & 1970 Chevrolet Dealership Paint and Fabric charts.I knew they would come in handy. |

Jeff; I looked there too, but wanted to check my book here at the house, just in case. 69 Black coated fabric (vinyl) bucket seat only for 12437-67 (Camaro)
Anders; I do not see A51 on the Fisher body broadcast sheet. Does the Nova have bench seats? If so could this be trim code 744 with poor stamping on the plate? 744 is Green custom cloth bench seat which would work with a G interior paint code. Greg

Great work guys ! IÄm sorry about the 711 code, itÄs a typo. IÄm so used to it from my 9561. The correct code is 742 (medium green cloth bench,standard) ThankÄs for the link Jeff ! IÄll have a look at the car to so if I can find any holes after some lower body side mouldings, and get back to you !

The car has the body side moulding just underneath the door handles, thatÄs B84 I guess. But there are no other holes in the doors, I looked from the inside. It also has the louver-like front fender trim, but no rear taillight panel. Perhaps there has been a bright rocker panel moulding. I have to get the paint of to find out. There is also an antenna-hole in the right front fender, that appears to be factory made. Thanks Marlin, Greg and others ! (It came from the factory with a 307, columnshifted 350TH, 10-bolt positraction with 2.73 gears, drum brakes, dog-dish hubcaps, power steering, and of course a rubber floor mat. It will soon receive a "special" 396 and other improvements.)
