Looks like a std. 69 and up sport wheel. It has the stainless band around the edge of the wheel.A comfort grip was a thicker wheel,no stainless around rim.It was available in 69 and 70 and most popular on the 70 GS & GSX Buicks.A very big difference side by side..

Oh, OK. I was just plain ignorant in this case. I thought those comfort grip wheels were buick only. Learn something new everyday.
Thanks for the info, Jason |

Jason,
I am with you. I don't recall ever having seen the soft spongy wheel with no molds for your fingers used as an RPO option for Camaros. The buick GSX had this wheel available as an option. Did Yenko have an aftermarket spongy wheel available? |

Yenko only offered, and used, the comfort grip in '70 Yenko Novas. It was only available as GM equipment on the '70+ Buick GSX's. Yenko offered it as a catalog item from '70 on. It did not come on any '69 cars, much less '69 Yenko cars, however, Don has been known to hand them out to guys who would stop by the store in McMurray
