Hey Guys, I have emailed the seller and on his reply he mention that the car has a repaint. (back!) to its factory color of hugger orange,(whats up wit dat?) so by not knowing yet if it's a x11 or 44 car, could have the restorer put the trim package on or (back on!?).To do a color change,in my opinion the car had to have come completely apart, so did he decide to do some detail mods at that time, or did infact did copo's come with bright trim? I do have a few numbers that he sent if anyone would like to know.Still learning how to decode one and what it all means. You can tell I am in the learning stages so be gentel , mold me shape me I have the fever and I want stop until I have one (supercar).

bpls6,
I am confused which isn't hard to do. You make it sound like it was painted a different color at one time? It was repainted once the original color, per the owner which sounds OK to me. Where do you get X44 from? The owner has stated X11. The COPO is trimmed correctly for X11 and it is denoted on the trim tag per the owner. While I have not seen the COPO in person, I am just working with info. provided by the current owner. |

I just confirmed with Charles that it has only had one repaint, many years ago, in the same color and that it is an X11 Code COPO.
