Ken B and his ZL1 have a great history. I think he was NHRA points champ in 1970. heres a pic from his display poster.

He purchased the car new from Fred Gibb Chevrolet for something like $7,200.00 which was quite a sum back then.

He is quite a local legend in the Western Suburbs/ Chicago land. I used to hear stories about him and the car running at Union Grove,Wisconsin, on a regular basis, way before I could even drive.

It was great to see them at the reunion.

I'm pretty sure that pic was for being Super Stock Eliminator Champ at Indy in '70. Now THAT was runnin' with the big dogs!
