Marlin, my point was typically the '69 Camaro COPO body #'s are generally lower for the same VIN # range than a non COPO cars at least for the ones I've seen. This has been attributed to both batching and difficulty in getting the BE rears. As an example, the late May COPO body #'s are about 30,000 units lower than non COPO car body #'s built at the same time. The early June cars' body #'s posted look odd when compared to the late May COPO body #'s I've seen.

I thought the 06A trim tag date was an area where they had problems and a lot of cars fall under that week when they really were probably built later in June. That could account for the big spread in NOR body #'s.
