The ZL2 ducted hood was not an option for COPO Camaros; it was part of the package. It is not listed on COPO window stickers.

The first COPO Camaros were ZL1s #1 & #2, N569358 & N569359. They were produced Dec 30, 1968, weeks ahead of schedule at the request of Chevrolets' General Manager Pete Estes. The first group of L72 Camaros was built the second week of January 1969.
