Tim,I located another Prout car tonight.It's also a 9737 non D80 car,AM,4-sp,and in his words "a burgandy paint color",black std interior.I believe he said he was the second owner,he's had it since 73.I hope to speak with him again to get more info.He also mentioned a Lemans Blue COPO just saved from the junkyard now running around with a 350 in place of the 427..........

Another way to document a car is to try and dig up the cars history. If you can get a NICB report it will tell you the original dealer. This is a least a place to start to try and find an owner history. If you are lucky you will find a salesman or mechanic or parts counter man that will remember the car because of the 427. Sometimes they remember the cars owner if it was bought as a race car. The problem is getting to the NICB info.
