I just purchased the car. I don't know the reasons for the botched previous deal. I am just happy to have purchased it and am having a concours restoration performed on it in the near future.

Dave,
I think it will be one awesome COPO when finished. Have you picked up the car and parts yet?

Sincere congratulations.

No, the deal happened so fast. I have a liason in the area that is going to help with the particulars. The car comes with NOS parts out the ying-yang. NOS parts include block, distributor, air cleaner, all stainless, emblems, and chrome, rear quarters, front clip, the list is long. Car will be restored to factory specs including smog, etc., although I love them torque thrust wheels! Can't say I have ever heard a 427 with chambered exhaust. I imagine it sounds pretty good.

Yeah, Dave I know about all the parts, It only took me about 4 hours to inventory them over the phone.

I have an extra set of the "New" ET Classic fives 15"x7". I like them better than the New torque thrust D's.

Dave,
Go to www.team3wheels.com they are called the Classic 5 to see a picture.

They are made one at a time and use the original Molds from the ET wheels of the 1960's.

The wheel lip/outer rim however are not the same.

They also will not fit 1967-68 style 4 piston disk brake calipers.

Dave:

If you've ever heard our Y-Camaro then you've heard chambered on 427. It sounds ok, but doesn't flow for crap!

Dave,
You know what they say about opinions...mine is that the car does need stripes, just SS stripes.
