Just talked to Jon, that picture was taken in about 81, or 82 at Cordova dragstrip in Cordova ILL. during Octoberfest. Went to the quater finals and broke out. [The air got better]Still won some money. The motor was pretty much a stock LT1, 30 over, Crane blue print solid lifter cam, 71, Z28 intake,Holley 850 double pumper. Was running to tall slicks on 7in. rim, killed the gear, and had to leave at 6-6500. Did'nt break anything that night, but did go through a couple M22s.The white stripes had cracked on the car, so they used to color in the cracks with white shoe polish. Looked really good till it rained. Schonye
P.S. I think Gary Holub told us once he had video of the car at Cordova. |

I dunno. I traded it toward a ZL1 and that Guy sold it. I think it was at a Dealer in Oklahoma or Texas awhile back for about 65K.

Charlie, I remember seeing those slips and pictures of the car when it was new. I remember the car ran in the 11's or low 12's.
