1969 L-78 Nova SS; Dusk blue/black vinyl hardtop exterior with deluxe black bucket seat interior. Additional options include wide ratio four speed manual transmission, 3.55 to 1 ratio positraction rear axle, power brakes, AM/FM radio, center console, "SS" steel wheels, and custom exterior trim.
This Nova has a matching numbers driveline (with a few minor exceptions, everything on the car is dated correctly for the time frame that it was manufactured), paper documentation, and ownership history. The car received an extensive body off restoration by the Supercar Workshop in Latrobe, PA which was detailed in multiple issues of "Nova Times" as well as my own personal photographic documentation of the restoration. The car has been shown several times and has earned both Editor's Choice and Sponsor's Choice Best of Show (as well as First in Class and attaining Gold Class) at the 1999 Nova Nationals, Chevy/Vettefest Gold Spinner in November 1999, First in Class and Best Restored at the 2000 Pittsburgh World of Wheels, and First in Class at the 2000 Super Chevy event at Maple Grove. Asking price is $60,000. I can be reached by e-mail at [email protected] or by telephone at (717) 259-0971... I will be happy to answer any additional questions that you may have. If you are looking for the finest restored L-78 Nova for your collection, this is it. Regards, Stan Falenski |

Thanks for your interest... There are a couple photos up on this site although they are a bit small.
Car Photos I'll post additional photos and attach them to this thread tomorrow morning. They should be a bit larger and provide more detail. If there is an area of the car that you are particularly interested in, let me know. Regards, Stan |

In regards to the exhaust manifolds, I understand wanting to keep originality and not paint them but will it look good to have rust underhood? Why not Jet Hot coat them? I have used Jet Hot several times (they are right in PA) The grey finish looks like cast iron and has a rust proof finish which is guarenteed. I always hate when I look under the hood of a beautiful car to see rusted exhaust manifolds... Just a thought...
Beautiful car BTW...
