Hey Terry, I just went through the HSV web tour....what do you know about the 'spraying' of the 'DNA' on the parts of the vehicles? Sounds like a newer concept of serial #'s sprayed onto a part that are encrypted...?? This would make these vehicles parts VERY specific and able to be pedigreed on the collectors market. Great concept if I'm reading what this is correctly. BTW, did you ever develop the pics of the Chandler collection from when you visited?

You are right about the parts being very specific, but security is THE reason. HSV buyers here basically never touch there cars, as the resale drops heavily if much other than tyres is altered. HSV has about 6 cars (before the Coupes ) but only sell around 3,500 cars per year. They are therefore very limited. Saw some comments on the Camaro ZL1 about it being an instant collectable. Might be now, but after people drive the new GTOs it might take a battering. A collectable state of the art performance car with a solid rear end......thats an interesting thought. (I believe the Camaro does not have IRS ...apologise for being misinformed if it does.)
AND Mark I have not developed them...but now that you mentioned it must get off my butt and do something about it.
Thanks for reminding me.
Rgds Terry
