I have a freind who has a Blue/Blue 1970
L-78 Nova, unrestored and very original that has the Blue cloth Bench.
I do not know if the cloth would be similar? Just trying to help.

They were both stitched the same way with a 6-8 inch vinyl strip down the middle. I will scan and send you picturs of both.

The interior I looked at today was a standard interior and still had the clear plastic over the seats and was striped cloth across the entire length of the front and rear seats and had vinyl on the upper portion and sides and complete back side of front bench. This car has been sitting probably 20 years or more and was shot to say the least but looked untouched except what the sun and mice had a hand in. I think the deluxe interior had the vinyl in the center sections and had a cloth piece on the back side of the front bench and was a different fabric than the standard cars got. the guy starting the work wants to install the fabric on the back of the bench but I think it should be vinyl?? The pictures would be a great help. I want to make sure I get it right. Thanks again.

It should look like this. The blue cloth has little dots instead of the triangle pattern though. http://www.classicnovas.net/brochure/68-7.htm

Thanks for ther pics bbdon. Those were the same pics I was sending. The gold was described as custom and the blue interior was standard.

Thanks for the pics. the gold was a custom and the blue in that brochure was on a four door. I really don't think my standard interior should have the vinyl strip in the center section between the splits since the two in boneyards didn't. I really need to see a 737 code 2 door to be sure. I have about a month before They start work on mine so If anyone knows for sure let me know. Thanks again.

I don't know if this will help, but I collect Chevrolet Dealership Displays.I have the Paint and Fabric boards from 1969-72.The code 737 shows a swatch of light blue vinyl.no fabric.
