Default x code

Could someone tell me what the code X66 stands for on a 69 Camaro trim tag. I have some vehicle I.D. books but they don't show this code. thanks for the help.

It was for an SS396, but some of the early Yenko's had the X66 I believe. What is the build date on the car?

Did the trim options of the VanNuys plant correspond to those of the Norwood plant?

Stefano, are you asking if the Van Nuys cars used the X code system? If so then no, only the Norwood cars did starting sometime in Dec 68. As far as factory options and trim go they were the same from either plant. Check out www.camaros.org for more infomation regarding these codes..............RatPack..................

Thanks Rat_Pac,
What I was trying to ask is, would a n X-11 or X-66 coded Norwood Camaro correspond with the same trim on the Van Nuys Camaro?
I would assume yes, just Checking for discrepancies. For example, did all X-66 coded cars get Blacked out tail and rocker treatment 1/4 spears ect..?

Stefano, all X66 cars got the blackout on the tailpanel (except black) but not all got the black body sills. Dusk Blue, Fathom Green, Burgandy, and Burnished Brown did not get the black body sills but that is not etched in stone. Did you check out the CRG site I mentioned above?......................RatPack............
