Default Re: 68 SS Fender Bezel

Unfortunately (or fortunately, however you look at it), I am in the restoration business and not the parts business or I would buy them. My car came with the later version so I don't need them. $127 is not bad as I sold a set in 1983 for more than that and you'ld be hard pressed to find very many good sets today.

I have several aquaintances who claim they can decode Chevrolet option codes on the cowl tag but they ain't talkin!

as far as your cowl tag goes;
69 year
11427 2 dr Sport Coupe V-8
WRN Willow Run, Michigan
452405 Body sequence #
733 Black vinyl bucket seat interior
06B Body build date; second week of June
5757 Fathom Green paint

VIN# 114279W518390
1 Division; Chevrolet
14 8 cyl. Nova
27 2 dr Sport Coupe
9 Model year 1969
W Assembly Plant; Willow Run
518390 Vin number (began with 300000)

Now how 'bout that engine trade!
