Default 69 copo

I have resently purchased a 69 camaro that is a copo. the previous owner cannot locate the pop. i have traced the car back to the dealer, but not the original first owner. the car has everything that makes it a copo, but the pop. is there any other avenue that i might travel to verify the originality of it? i have tried chev. customer serv.,ohio bmv,and joseph chev. any help would be GREATLY appreciated. thanks,jim
