Default Trunk paint

I have been using a water based paint called Acme part # 1925 acme-flex spatter finnish- aqua and cannot find it anywhere, for my 69 chevelle. I think Acme is out of business or was bought out. I was wondering what everybody else was using to paint there trunk besides the spray can type. Jeff

The best paint I have found for the trunk area is Zolatone. Your local paint store should have it, if not e-mail me.

I am not sure where you live but most boat supply places also carry Zolatone. It is used to paint the inside of aluminum boats.

Ron Normann at McHenry Classic Car Parts has some great stuff he had mixed up. I highly recommend both the product, and, Ron for any other parts. He has helped me immensely in a number of restoration projects. His number is 815-363-7878
