I also have a SOny DCR-TRV 730 and lik eit as well. I also just bought a Sony DCS-S75 for my wife. YThis camera has 3.3 megapixel resolution, multi flash mode, and can be set to automatically or manually set the f stop . Thgis camera also has a Zeiss lens, which is one of the top lens makers in the world.

Whichever one you choose, make sure it comes with a rechargable battery pack, not replaceable (AA, AAA and the like) batteries. I haven't seen a digital camera yet that doesn't drain regular batteries like water. My Boss'digital camera won't even turn on when he tries to use the cheaper Costco store brand batteries.
