I've seen additional documentation on this car. It is real and by far the earliest JL8 car known. It was ordered by a GM exec's son.

I owned this car before, and yes, the car is an ORIGINAL JL8 car. The window sticker is real. The car was stolen in late 69 or early 70. Years later the axle and disc brakes showed up in a race car in the St. Louis area. The car now has rear discs back on it.. Everything William stated is correct. Very rare car!

on a post done 10/29/2001 this car was checked out has 68 chevelle BV coded rear with drum brakes has been modified with aftermarket disc brake set up
