I have an LS-5 "512" block from a 1970 Monte. What are you trying to accomplish? Its magged and standard for $600.00. Can't remember the dates but will look them up if you need them. |

This is definitely not a COPO candidate. The two bolt block won't have the pipe plugs above the oil filter. The heads are oval port and the intake would be cast iron. The stamped date code isn't in the right time frame and the "LE" code is wrong. It would still be a nice motor in any car and does have a fair bit of performance potential with minor upgrades.

Chevelleless after 46 years......but we did find a low mileage, six speed, silver 2005 Corvette. It will just have to do for now.

I just like having extra BB hanging around . I have a couple race cars and its always good to have a back up. A 76 Vega GT & a 67 Firebird ( factory Bench Seat car . Both Gone into the 10s in the 1/4 and street legal Hopefully i cant catch up with you at the Vette show this weekend , Depending on the weather - The forcast doesnt look good Though.... Anything short of ICE, i'll be there.. THANKS. JC |
