I don't think the 15x7 steel wheel with the Chevelle Camaro bolt circle diameter came out until used on the 1970 Monte Carlo but I'm not sure.

For the disc brake Chevies you got rally wheels in the 60s. Nothing else would clear the calipers until the '69 SS Chevelle wheels came along. Were some of the full sized Chevys equipped with 15" versions? I'm pretty sure some of these wheels were only 5" wide.
Like Peter, I too got snubbed by the "experts" in the '70s and 80s. After a while I was just looking for Chevelle parts and literature, nothing special. You just never know what curves Chevy will throw at you and you never say never. [Edited by Keith Tedford (11-19-2001 at 05:32 PM).]

Chevelleless after 46 years......but we did find a low mileage, six speed, silver 2005 Corvette. It will just have to do for now. ![]() |

Thanks for the info on 9737.
On Camaros, disc brakes in 67 came with rally wheels. In 68 and 69, the base wheels would clear.
