Denis;
Thanks for pics, I see where the $4,245 comes from now. Interesting that it conflicts with Yenko's records. I can only speculate that the difference may have been his gross margin. We have some paperwork on a '67 Y-Camaro that actually started with a base price of $2,572, and the options drove it over $5k. Overall, it seems that the base prices on the various models' window stickers are fairly consistent. I hope this answers James initial post.

I think the base prices are easier established than the optioned prices, and it would be interesting to see which car, with paperwork (either window sticker or bill of sale), was the highest priced for each model/year.

Denis has the dollar amount for the '67s;
'67 Yenko Camaro $5,121.75.

I have Bill Hunter's window sticker for his;
'69 Yenko Camaro at $4,381.65.

JoeC's example for;
'69 Yenko Chevelle at $4,481.32.

I have my bill of sale for;
'70 Yenko Nova at $4,509.10.

Any more???
M

The 30K mile LeMans blue Yenko Chevelle at SCR4 sold for $5,018.13 with AM radio, PS ,TH400, bucket seats, and rear mt antenna. The car may have had other options installed by Yenko or by the selling dealer. It has a chrome bullet type mirror on it that looks like one in the Yenko catalog called a Talbot Racing Mirror and has a Camaro rear spoiler.

JoeC;
Did that Chevelle have a window sticker or a bill of sale? I thought he had both, but I don't remember.

We bought our COPO Chevelle new and it listed for $4436 CDN. The COPO 9566AA option was $649 CDN. I see where someone got charged $150 for the SS hood and black out front and rear end treatment. Three of us bought COPO cars new at the same dealer and they all came with the SS hood and blackout treatment as part of the package. My GM documentation does not show this as a separate package. The D96 stripe was a $36 CDN option however and one of the cars didn't have it. Just a little extra info for comparison sake.

The sales contract for our car was for $4381.65. The buyer rec,d a $281.65 discount,put down $2900.00 and financed $1200.00 for 24 months at $60.08 per month.The delivery schedule shows 6 cars on the truck to Gates Chev on 4/23/69. The dealer cost of the car was $3697.73. There were 4 Camaros and 2 Chevelles on this truck. If I can figure out how to scan this document in, I will. Would be interested to find out about the other 5 cars.
